Preparing Dutch annual accounts from Yuki (now Nmbrs Accounting)

Yuki has been Nmbrs Accounting since 1 September 2026. The export is under Bookkeeping > Export; XAF 3.2 with RGS is for the external accountant.

✓ First annual accounts free ✓ Micro to large entities ✓ Dutch GAAP: Title 9, Book 2 DCC ✓ Primary database in the EU

The short answer

Since 1 September 2026 Yuki continues as Nmbrs Accounting; the software and your administration stay the same. You export via the Bookkeeping > Export icon: csv, Excel or pdf, and for the (external) accountant also XAF Auditfile 3.2 and an RGS bridge statement (RGS Brugstaat) with RGS version 2.0 to 3.5. In this model the annual accounts themselves are prepared by the accountant.

Yuki is now called Nmbrs Accounting

Nmbrs states: ‘Since 1 September 2026 Yuki, WeFact, Nmbrs and Visionplanner continue together as Nmbrs.’ Yuki is henceforth called Nmbrs Accounting, alongside Nmbrs Invoicing, Nmbrs Payroll and Nmbrs Reporting. According to the supplier nothing changes in how it works: ‘You keep working in Yuki as you are used to.’ The web addresses do move from yukiworks.nl to a Nmbrs domain, and the e-mail addresses of the domain change with them.

What Nmbrs Accounting itself offers for the annual accounts

The package assumes a division of tasks between entrepreneur and accountant. The support article on that division of roles places the preparation of the annual accounts, the publication documents for the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and the tax returns with the accountant, as the last phase of the year-end work. The entrepreneur supplies documents and checks that the figures match reality.

Within the same brand name, Nmbrs Reporting is the product for that compilation. Nmbrs writes that a firm uses it to compile annual accounts and file them with the KVK. That is a separate product for firms, not a button in your bookkeeping domain.

Exporting from Nmbrs Accounting

  1. Hover over the Bookkeeping icon in the navigation bar and click Export. The Backoffice icon takes you to the same screen.
  2. Select the export format, the administration and the financial year.
  3. For csv, Excel or pdf, leave the From and To fields empty to export all accounts.
  4. For csv or Excel, leave the opening balance checkbox ticked, so that the opening position of the balance sheet accounts is included.
  5. For XAF Auditfile 3.2 or the RGS bridge statement, choose the right RGS version.
FormatFor whomUsable for the annual accounts?
Csv or ExcelEvery user with export rightsYes, provided with opening balance
PdfEvery user with export rightsOnly for archiving
XAF Auditfile 3.2The (external) accountantYes; with RGS codes in the chosen version
XML (CLAIR 2.0) and ASCII (CLAIR 1.0)The (external) accountantOlder formats; only if the recipient asks for them
RGS bridge statementThe (external) accountantIntended for the tax return, not for the full annual accounts

Who may export depends on the bundle. In a compact domain or with the Minimal bundle only a user with the Backoffice role can; with Small and higher the roles Management, Financial administration and External accountant can too. The package creates an export of more than 2,000 transactions in the background; you receive an e-mail with a link that is valid for fourteen days. The trial balance guide helps with checking the file.

RGS in Yuki and Nmbrs Accounting

This package works with its own master codes that are translated on export. According to the supplier, those codes are mapped on export to RGS 2.0, 3.0, 3.3 or 3.5, or to the codes of tax return packages. So you do not have to set up the mapping per account; you only choose the version. The article includes an Excel file with the mapping of version 3.0 through 3.5. If the receiving software does not ask for a specific version, choose the newest. More background: RGS mapping.

Checks before exporting from Yuki

  • Year-end work done. Depreciation, accruals and interest on current accounts belong to the last phase that the accountant carries out; export afterwards.
  • Correct administration. A domain can contain several administrations; the export screen asks for one.
  • Opening balance on. Without that tick, an Excel export contains only the movements of the balance sheet accounts.
  • Role. If you do not see the XAF format, you do not have the external accountant role.

Worked example: the opening balance tick

The accounts payable account of a BV begins 2025 with € 42.300 credit. During the year € 331.200 credit and € 318.900 debit are booked. With opening balance the export shows a closing balance of € 54.600 credit. Without the tick only the balance of the movements remains: € 12.300 credit. The file looks complete, but liabilities are € 42.300 too low and the balance sheet no longer ties to equity.

From Yuki export to annual accounts

The annual accounts follow Title 9: preparation by the board, adoption by the general meeting and filing within eight days afterwards art. 2:394(1) DCC. Small entities may apply tax valuation principles, if they do so fully and state it in the notes art. 2:396(6) DCC.

Yuki, Nmbrs Accounting and Jaarrekening.io

Jaarrekening.io reads the Excel or csv export and also the XAF Auditfile 3.2 file. With the XAF file the app takes over the RGS codes and uses them for the mapping to the annual accounts line items; anything without a code gets a proposal from the AI that you check. The app tests whether the period of the file fits the financial year. If you have no access to the XAF format yourself, ask your accountant for the file or use Excel. A direct link with Yuki or Nmbrs Accounting is in preparation and not yet released; see linking to your bookkeeping package.

When the firm behind your Yuki domain is the better route

The support article on the division of roles places the year-end work and the annual documents with the accountant. If you work according to that division, your firm is the obvious route. Preparing them yourself makes sense if you keep the bookkeeping in your own hands, or for a holding company outside the domain. For the latter, the bookkeeping of Jaarrekening.io is also an option.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to do anything now that Yuki is called Nmbrs Accounting?

Not to your administration: data, settings and history stay the same. The web address and the e-mail addresses of your administration do change. According to Nmbrs, invoices sent to the old address at yukiworks.nl will still arrive for the time being; give suppliers the new address.

Why don't I see XAF Auditfile 3.2 in the list of export formats?

That format is one of the formats for the (external) accountant. As an entrepreneur you see csv, Excel and pdf. Ask your accountant for the XAF file, or export to Excel with the opening balance included.

Which RGS version do I choose when exporting?

You can choose from 2.0, 3.0, 3.3 and 3.5. Choose the version the receiving software asks for. If there is no preference, take 3.5, the newest the package offers.

My export does not appear immediately. Is that right?

For more than 2,000 transactions the package creates a pdf or XAF file in the background. You see a message at the top of the screen and receive an e-mail with a link, which stays valid for fourteen days.
