Visionplanner alternative? Visionplanner is now Nmbrs Reporting

Updated: October 2026. Anyone looking for a Visionplanner alternative should know that on 1 September 2026 Visionplanner continued together with WeFact, Yuki and Nmbrs under the name Nmbrs (source: nmbrs.com, press release). The old address redirects to Nmbrs Reporting, where the annual accounts software is called Nmbrs Compilation, for accountants and entrepreneurs (sources: nmbrs.com, accountants; nmbrs.com, entrepreneurs). Jaarrekening.io is a standalone tool for directors who prepare Dutch annual accounts themselves.

What happened to Visionplanner?

In a press release of 24 August 2026 Nmbrs writes that WeFact, Yuki, Nmbrs and Visionplanner continue ‘together as of 1 September’ under the name Nmbrs; Nmbrs is part of Visma (source: nmbrs.com, press release). Both visionplanner.com and the Visionplanner support site now redirect to Nmbrs Reporting. We checked those redirects on 5 October 2026. The annual accounts software within Nmbrs Reporting is called Nmbrs Compilation.

For firms, Nmbrs Compilation describes a compilation file ‘from acceptance to completion’, review and approval, electronic signing, consolidation and a report generator: ‘Prepare the annual accounts that suit your client, from micro to large’ (source: nmbrs.com, accountants).

On filing, Nmbrs writes that thanks to ‘the link with SBR Nexus’ you exchange reports with banks ‘and easily file them with the KVK’. The report generator names the sole proprietorship, bv, vof and foundation (with RJk C1, RJ 640, RJk C2 and RJ 650), also in English (source: nmbrs.com, report generator). Visionplanner is on the ‘Aanbieders KVK Groot’ (providers KVK Large) list of XBRL Nederland (source: XBRL Nederland).

Who Nmbrs Compilation is meant for

Nmbrs Compilation has two target groups. For accountants it is about compiling more efficiently and getting a grip on quality (source: nmbrs.com, accountants). For entrepreneurs Nmbrs promises: ‘You compile your annual accounts yourself, always according to the latest rules, and file them directly with the KVK’ (source: nmbrs.com, entrepreneurs).

According to Nmbrs the figures come from the bookkeeping via an automatic link. The product page shows AFAS, Exact, Moneybird, SnelStart and Twinfield, among others, and speaks of ‘192 more integrations’ (source: nmbrs.com, entrepreneurs). Rates are not on the website; you request a rate overview via a form, separately for firms and for companies (sources: nmbrs.com, firm rates; nmbrs.com, company rates).

How Jaarrekening.io works differently from Nmbrs Compilation

Both products let the entrepreneur compile the annual accounts themselves. The difference lies in the route. Nmbrs Compilation takes the figures from the bookkeeping package via a link and, according to its own website, files directly with the KVK (source: nmbrs.com, entrepreneurs). Jaarrekening.io imports an export, a trial balance or XAF audit file, and compiles the publication version. Jaarrekening.io sends nothing to the KVK. For micro and small you can enter the data yourself in the KVK portal Zelf Deponeren. The XBRL file of a large entity cannot go through that portal: an intermediary, usually the accountant, submits it with SBR software.

Jaarrekening.io puts the emphasis on the writing work. The AI proposes the mapping of accounts to line items and writes drafts for the notes and management report; the amounts come from fixed calculation rules. You take comparative figures from last year's filed annual accounts, from a pdf or from the prior-year trial balance.

Nmbrs is also a broad platform with invoicing, bookkeeping, payroll and reporting under one name (source: nmbrs.com, press release). With Jaarrekening.io you pay for the annual accounts separately, once per financial year; other modules are optional.

When Nmbrs Compilation is the better choice

• You are making an annual report for a sole proprietorship or vof, or for a foundation under RJ 640 or RJ 650; Nmbrs names these explicitly (source: nmbrs.com, report generator).

When Jaarrekening.io can be an alternative to Nmbrs Compilation

• You want to know in advance what the annual accounts cost: a fixed price per financial year, without a subscription.
• You work with a package without a link, or want to work independently of your package with an export.
• You want drafts for the notes and management report that are written from your own figures and that you assess yourself.
• You want your accountant to look along, without taking out firm software yourself.
